The UK Small Business School began by accident on a family holiday when Bryan’s grandson borrowed money for ice cream against future chores—without realising he couldn’t earn enough to pay it back. That moment mirrored the struggles of many small business owners: working hard, but never quite getting ahead due to poor cashflow understanding. Bryan, a chartered accountant and former lecturer, had spent decades teaching professionals and advising businesses—from small firms to listed companies—on how to build financial strength through sound accounting knowledge.
Joined by his son Craig, who runs his own accountancy practice, they combined over 50 years of experience to launch UKSBS. Their mission? To help entrepreneurs master the essentials of business in plain English—cashflow, tax, accounting, and strategy—so they can finally build the profitable businesses they deserve.
